Hi there,

I have a tabular data model on Azure Analysis Services and it works well. I'd like to sell subscriptions to my data model to interested parties.

How would this work? Is Azure Analysis Services set up for this? It seems most likely to me that I would simply give users a role or login name whereby they could access the model in PowerBI or Excel at their leisure.

Yes. Analysis service uses azure AD for user authentication. You can invite them and give access to specific models. Please take a look at this page. To add or manage roles and users for a tabular model, Please take a look at this documentation.
