Hi im using VS 2008 C# Express SP1 with .NET 3.5 SP1

in my current project i have a strange problem using a usercontrol
which contains a DropShadowEffect arround a border.

When DropShadowEffect is inside the UserControl the Garbage Collector
is unable to free the memory after element is removed via  <parentElement>..Children.Remove(...

do i need something special to get rid of it ???
