we are doing full data copy with all columns from sql to sql  at regular intervals using ADF v2.  What happening if any new columns added to source and as well as to destination table at the same time.

Does  pipeline job will automatically recognise the new data column mapping? or we have to edit the manually to pipleline?

If you have specified column mapping explicitly, new column will be ignored. You have to update the pipeline manually.

But if your source column and sink column are well matched, saying that source column name and sink column name are exactly the same, then you could just remove the column mapping and leverage the default column mapping. Then you don't need update your pipeline every time.
