Hello All,

I am creating a list that will be used as the basis of a course catalog for my company. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way where the information from one column in a newly added item can automatically be populated as an option for future new items in another column,

So my example is that with each newly entered course, a course ID must be entered in the "Course ID" column. The column type for that column is "Single Line of Text". I would like the information from that column to automatically become an option for the "Pre-Requisites" column which is a "Choice" column. 

Is there a setting I am unaware that can perform this or a workflow that must be created that handle it. Any help would be awesome!

This is possible through designer workflow. Use "update Item" action in the designer workflow. When ever new item is added into the workflow, update "Pre-Requisties" column. Make sure that, your workflow should be marked as "Start workflow automatically when an item is created".
