When we do search Cosmos Db documents with "Contains" ,we can see performance hit. This works fine but taking more RUS (5000 times to the "Equals" operator).

What are the best options to improve the performance with CONTAINS/Wild card search ?

Note : We are trying to achieve this without using Azure search Indexing.
