I have been trying to make the http post function to login and get session id from an external site. Myself an system administrator have started learning azure function for sometime. And if anyone can explain or suggest how it can be done. It will be really helpful for me.

Generally the best way to start a process like this is to do so by getting a script that works when running on premise then integrate it into an Azure Function. Would you be able so share some examples of what you have thus far and I can suggest further?
