Most likely you have relative path issues (where you refer to the images by a path like "/images/image1.jpg" instead of by their full path). Also, on the computer where you downloaded the site, how are you actually running the site? Are you using a web server or are you just trying to double-click on the files? Using a web server gives your site more features and power compared to just double-clicking. That helps with pathing and other issues. Finally, did you actually download all of the slide shows, etc. and their related items? For instance, are you referencing jQuery libraries that are hosted on the server instead of inside your site itself? Are you using applications that are installed on the server (like Wordpress, Joomla, etc.)?

It will just take a bit of work.
