Have 2 data base. Named as follows

Backend . mdb
Archive .mdb

The front end. mdb contains some new tables and are having link tables from backend.mdb and Archive.mdb. I have the following concerns ,

1)The data from frontend.mdb is the data from link tables from Backend.mdb if removed and placed in Archive.mdb , weather the size of the database of Backend.mdb gets reduced ?

2)What can be done to reduce the size of backend.mdb from the Front end?
