When I change the Id for the Textboxes, It displays the directory is invalid. What is the Problem. Why I can''t change the Id?. Anybody known please help me.

There is perhaps a textbox with same name already. If you are using web form then just do it from the code view and it will work. The error is not while changing the ID the error comes when the VS tries to find all references to update the name.
