I created a web form. Tried to drag a label from toolbox to design tab, but it won''t allow me.

When I tried to drag a standard tool to source view in the same web form. It allow me to drad with a syntax for example

<asp:Label ID="Label1" runat="server" Text="Label"></asp:Label>

When i switch back to design tab, there was a error message "Error Creating Control: Label1.

Did you missing anything or how to fix this.

If it''s a legacy ASP page (as indicated by the tag on your question), you can''t use controls from the toolbox. You have to use standard HTML components.
