I am making an application for online test.I didnt knew how to handle server issues. For example, If some user is giving test and in between server disconnects then how test gets submitted. No one wants to give test again if there is problem with the system. So if anyone have any solution or and approach which can resolves the issue.

There are many ways to deal with such situations.
1. You can always generate a set of question for that user when user login for examination and store that set of question with userid. Later when user answers the question just for every question update answer and time remaining to database.
So in case of network issues you will able to maintain user session and data.

2. If your examination is conducted inside any authorized training centers (which are under your control) then you can very well design application which can make use of client side cookies to preserve user session.
