I need to develop an attendance Software for a firm . Can anyone please suggest what functionality should be there in the admin section .

Also when a employee enters his employee-id, the logging in time gets stored to the database but since system time is to be inserted into the database there are chances that some employees may change the system time and then log- in . Please suggest some alternatives .

What functionality should be present is up to you or whoever has designed the application. There should be requirements that you can refer to. If not, then stop and get them written before doing anything else. There is no excuse in modern software development for not having requirements. Period.

The obvious answer to the time storage problem is to use a time that can''t be tempered with by the users, like the server or database.
