Hi,
I have a project that runs over a network and it contains some forms when I want to
use the "Design" of this items at VS2008 and SourceSafe it prepare slowly
thus my projects has a few DatagridView.
i need to know how to optimize speed for this usage.

Plain VSS connectivity is only optimal on a fast LAN. For other types of connections, the VSS Internet connection exists, but only adds basic minimal functionality and while only within Visual Studio.

This might be out of the scope of what you are looking for, but have you thought of a third party solution? Something like SourceGear SourceOffSite might be a better solution.
