when i placed updated database .bak file in BIN folder on ftp site, updated data not coming on site.
can any one help?

You can have this feeling the upload is getting disappeared just after upload when you only have write rights and no read rights.

This is possible if you use ftp server that comes with your windows installation. With only write rights I fooled some friends of mine who thought that their uploads went wrong.
