Has anyone had any issues with mapping SQL Server datatypes to SSIS types?

I have a Lookup transformation in a package which accepts a flat file delimited with semicolons and loads the data therein into a database.

The lookup is trying to reference a column of type int in an SQL Server view.

In the Flat File Connection Manager I''m setting the column data type to DT_I4 as per

But when I try to associate the columns ion the lookup editor, I keep getting an error saying

One or more columns have unsupported data types or the data types do not match.

Has anyone else seen anything like this?
