I have created an MFC shared .dll file in Visual Studio 2010. In the .dll file there is a mfcbuttoncontrol and an icon that will be inserted. I want to use the .dll file icon but cannot show.

Without seeing your code it is impossible to guess. Have you loaded the DLL into your application, and are you using the correct resource names or ids for the relevant resources?
