Hey everyone,

For the past 6 months i have been building a tcp file Server\Client
all is well its working well one thing i would like to add to it is a easy way for the client to get the IP of the server.


So i figered that a fast and easy way would be for the Server to send its IP to a Hotmail or Gmail account every time it starts up or it ip changes
then have the client get the newest email and read the server IP.

I have looked and looked for days now and i can''t find any fast and easy way to send and get the mail is there a fast way or is there a beter way to for the client to get the server ip.

what i mean is that the server sends its ip to an email addrees that the admin sets up then when he ship the clients there will be an XML with the email info, then every time the client trys to connect if it cant it will check the email for an updated server ip.


i want it like this coz my ip changes every few days and it will make it hard for my friends to connect, atm i just send them an email with my new ip
but its a pain to send an email so i figered there would be a way to do it with code and build it in to my server.
