I want to connect to Oracle database (which is located in server machine) without installing any oracle client (like toad for oracle) in my Computer. I have read each & every articles & newsletters but nowhere I found these type of sol''n. Everyone were says that It is necessary to install at least a oracle client in computer, then it will works. So, is there any steps or method through which we can connect to database without installing a client.

If you want your application to connect to an Oracle database you would need to install the Oracle Data Provider for .Net[^] (ODP.Net) on the client machine.

It used to be that you could use the System.Data.OracleClient namespace but Microsoft Deprecated[^] this in favour of the Oracle Data Provider.
