Hello, this is Vikash Gohil.

I have a ASP.net Application where I am reading the client PC name using javascript.

The problem faced is as below.

When i initially installed it on the client place, it waqs working fine under WinXP pro sp2 and IE6 browser.

Recently client changed the PC and now it WinXP pro sp3 and IE6. but the code for reading environment variables does not work and it does not give the client PC name.

Can anyone tell me whether any permissions are needed to be set.

Please guide me in this matter, the application still works fine when run from the old configuration.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
