You need the pulse codes for each make of tv, and they do not give them out, they sell them, so get some money together first.

What DD says is only partly true. If you start here[^], you can see the data format and codes that are common to most/all manufacturers. I''m sure there are other websites that list more RC-5 codes. In fact, Google returns over 8 million hits for "RC-5 codes".
