我有一个用MFC/C ++编写的应用程序，在此应用程序中，我在窗体上显示v²(v平方).但是，当我在日语Windows XP上运行该应用程序时，square(alt + 0178)被转换为日语本机字符.但是，如果运行德语Windows XP或英语OS的相同应用程序，则无需进行任何转换即可保持不变.

Hi All,
I have an application written in MFC/C++, in this i am displaying v² (v-square) on a form. But when i run the application on Japanese Windows XP.., the square(alt+0178) is getting converted to a native Japanese character. But running the same application of German Windows XP or English OS.., its remaing same without any conversion.

So, how do i force the Japanese windows xp not to convert the square(power of 2) to its native character ? :confused:

Any help on this will be much appreciated..,
