任何人都可以帮助我如何访问托管在我们服务器上的sql server数据库吗，我已经在该服务器上进行了登录，然后将用户添加到该数据库中并为其分配了一些角色，还向Windows防火墙添加了sqlbrowser和sqlserver进程例外列表，我也关闭了服务器上的共享内存，但是当我尝试使用该服务器的IP地址，我进行的登录以及带有密码的sql帐户名登录到该服务器时，却出现了错误这样的

Hi everybody,
Can any one help me how to access the sql server database hosted on our server,i had made the login on that server,then i add user to that data base and assign it some roles,i also add sqlbrowser and sqlserver process to windows firewall exception list,i turned off the shared memory on the server as well,but when i try to login to that sever by using,the IP address of that server,the login i had made and sql account name with password,it gaves me error like that

could not open a connection to sql server (Microsoft SQL Server error:53)

Make sure you have TCP/IP enabled in Sql Server Configuration Manager for the database instance in question. It will be under SQL Server Network Configuration in the config manager.

Sorry...just saw the 2005 tag, but same idea. I don''t have a 2005 install handy but you''re looking to enable remote connections via TCP/IP.
