How can i pass a static query string with anchor tag and retrieve it in other page.

I have anchor tag with different option like company,home etc.
and i want to pass it to other page with query string.

in home page i have a link for type of user and according to the type of user it will be redirected to respected page e.g if user is company then it will be redirected to companyregistration.aspx where im checking about his type so i need the query string...
