Hi everbody,

In Login form of our application there is an option called "Remember Me" where i store userid and company details previous login to show during login session of the user excluding password which user need to give value. For storing userid and company details i am using "Properties.Settings". It working fine but the problem i am facing is that after uninstallation of the application and installing new version of the application still the userid and copany details are remain in the login screen. can anybody help me to over come this problem.

You would need to write code to detect the old settings and remove them. Any file created by your app, is not removed by an update. The other way, is to make the installer of the new version write a blank preferences file, so it forces the erasing of those settings.
