One obvious way to achieve this is to filter (while C-FIND) on tag that differentiates the instances. This is what you are trying to achieve. Problem is that, commonly used filters do not include such tag.
As you are working on Series level, there is no such a tag in C-FIND response as well. I am not sure if such a tag is available in Image level C-FIND response; but even if it is, it is not reliable way as many PACS implementations may not return it.
So this is not possible/reliable through C-FIND.

You should retrieve the instances (C-MOVE/C-GET) and filter those on your C-STORE SCP.
In that case also, you need to find the tag that differentiates the instances. In your particular case (0008,0070) Manufacturer
and/or (0008,1090) Manufacturer's Model Name
can be considered.
