Mine is pretty barren right now, containing only:

1. Global font-lock-mode! (global-font-lock-mode 1)
2. My personal preferences with respect to indentation, tabs, and spaces.
3. Use cperl-mode instead of perl-mode.
4. A shortcut for compilation.
