Hii to all, last week i attended an telephonic interview,there i got the question is .net is language? i answered it is a framework tool,immediately next question is,is asp.net language r not?i told no it is technology then they asked difference b/w language&technology and also framework.Can anyone please tell me the exact difference b/w these.Thanks in advance

Language by the way in which the technology has been Implemented.


e.g

Silverlight is technology which comes from Microsoft
it has been implemented in c# language...
