Hello everyone, please help with the following queries:

1.-How many machines can I virtualize with HyperV within a VM with Windows Server standard in Azure, there is some limit?}

2.-As is the scenario if I create a VM in Azure with Windows server Datatcenter, I can virtualize in this scenario, 13 machine with HyperV, is there any limit or is paid for a separate license?

3.-What would be the best scenario to virtualize 13 machines with HyperV within a VM of Azure?

解决方案

1) There is no limit per say. It just would come down to the resources allocated to the high level VM. If you have enough resources you can nest as many VMs as you like. 

2) Standard VM license rates would apply. So you need to manage the licenses yourself for each nested VM you have. Each nested VM needs it's own license. 

3) You can review the VM sizes that support nested virtualization here. Then simply determine how many resources you want to allocate to each nested VM and pick a size accordingly.
