Although now I'm worried about many solutions I deliver to customers where the masters they need for a drawing are loaded into the local Document Stencil. If they haven't used a master in the drawing, they might deleted it when cleaning up!

There might be a setting somewhere for preventing the deletion of "unused but critical local masters", but I'll have to dig through my notes...
