I am trying to include pthread header in Visual Studio 2008 Express edition to create multiple threads. I have downloaded and configured it in Additional Dependencies. The problem is, it says VCOMPD.lib file cant be opened. I am literally stuck in this problem, pls help me out.

have you checked if the linker can find the directory of the library? Insert the Directory in the project settings VC++ linker directories.
