In my project is regarding with bulk email sending as java web project, using Amazon Simple Email Service. I have a requirement such that, in the body of email there wll be a link to some document like pdf,doc etc. It need store the details of who clicked that link, and when it clicked etc. How can implement this part?

In order to track such details, you cannot do anything in email process or content as such - because you cannot control users system emails.

Though the possible option is to host those documents on some webportal and there track the users who try to access them. Document link will be in email, which when clicked, will take user to that document posted on portal. When user hits that url, you will know details of who and when, keep a record.
