I am sixteen years old and am a professional C++ programmer.
I have made about any type of software application, ranging from binary function interception DLL''s to particle simulators.

I have a huge passion for mathematics and science and wish to become a software developer. I however live in very harsh conditions with my brother and mother. My brother is a high archiving intellectual and has been head of his class multiple times. I am trying to reach out to the community to see if i could get a bit of help with both me and my brother''s education funds. I question whether student sponsorship programs are available to young programmers such as myself so my mother and brother can carry on surviving.

I truly can assure you i am like no other teenager , and am confident that i have set the bar for young programmers around the world.

You should look at what is offered at your school.

If you are as good as you say, you should have no problem getting sponsorship and/or grants and/or loans (worse thing ever) to continue your education and get references for internship in local software shops..

Companies in general will not hire "young" people for regular jobs, especially minors; you need to grind your way in, and will be hard and painful.

There are quite a few sites online that offer contract programming opportunities for hire.

I don''t have any personal experience with them, though when my nephew was a teen, he worked on projects like these and made decent money for his age.

These sites of course are buyer beware, as there''s always a chance of getting cheated after putting in the work.

Perhaps others can comment about sites they''ve used and their experiences?
