I just recently upgraded to a new computer and from Outlook 2003 to 2007. My .pst folder migrated successfully, however, I have lost the ability to create tasks and reminders in the calendar. I get an error message every time. I can create new appointments and my old/recurring appointments transferred successfully, but I no longer get reminders nor can I set them up for new appts. Why is this happening? I saw an article on support.microsoft.com:

Exit Outlook, click Start, point to Run, type outlook /cleanreminders, and then click OK.

Exit Outlook, click Start, point to Run, type outlook /resetfolders, and click OK. Use this method if the /cleanreminders switch does not resolve the problem.

I worry that this process may delete all recurring appointments/events/other data in the calendar.

It appears to be the .pst calendar - Its unclear to me how to verify this, but I didn't set up a new calendar when I installed Outlook 2007 and my appointments from my original calendar are still showing up, so I'm assuming the "calendar" tab on my outlook screen is that original calendar.
