Hello.I need to create a program that can take snap shots on a movie that is playing. I have design a video player on vb.net and now i have to add this functionality in this program. The program should be a bit like a forensic software that can manipulate a video.Any other functionalities for the program would be at most welcome.Can anyone please help me out.Its urgent.Thanks

Download the DirectX SDK and use it. It works great with a nice help menu showing you the Methods, Properties, and Events available to use. Works with all .NET languages.

Just add a reference to your project. Reference Microsoft.DirectX.AudioandVideoPlayback.dll
Then declare an object to use as the audio or video file.
