I am building a ticket exchange website and I am coming up empty when looking for programs I can do this with. Ideally, users would have an account, post their tickets, and if anyone wanted to buy this, an email notification would be sent to the user and the buyer with contact information for the other party. I am looking for a language I would be able to do this with and that is relatively compatible with any website builder.

What I have tried:

Asking many coders and they say it is "over their heads" or they don't know what program to use. Just need suggestions and a guess at how hard it will be. Thanks!
