Assume we have huge static content in text format which will not be modified. Content should be indexed and searching should be possible. Content can be categorized under different heading or pages, that's not an issue.

Is there any open source portable application is equivalent or alternative for rocket folio views which has lots of features like windows application - all menus, file, print, search hits, function keys etc., capturing all the words in the given data, number of hits before doing the actual search, whenever started typing and it will say the number of hits for the given combination

also if there is google like search for static data with quick results and easy navigation like folio views it would be great.

Java may be a good fit but building default menus and other behaviors are bit time taken.

Not sure any open source already built which has these features.
