I'm relatively new to web development. I've been wishing to create a simple Online experience since I've never really gotten into it during my C# years. I've tried Eclipse, and I'm about to give Dreamweaver a shot - the problem is that none of the IDEs I've used have any intellisense and autocompletion like Visual Studio.

Is there any way to get the same C# debugging experience (with intelligense, autocompletion, breakpoints, and coloring of arguments/comments/methods) in Visual Studio for PHP and Javascript development?

I'm in need of this so I know I'm calling the right methods, and I can also see methods available for objects - and my custom objects. Additionally, many of the IDEs like Bracket seem not to be able to recognize PHP most of the time, or any Java functions.

Notepad++ is definitely a no go.

Yes, that is what Visual Studio Code is for. Of course, you won't get a lot of features but it gives you a great flexibility and you can easily integrate PHP, JavaScript, Node.js extensions and services in the IDE right up, set up debuggers, get autocomplete features etc.
