1）我创建服务

3）我拖放serviceinstaller和将安装程序安装到安装程序上

4）我确保每个的父项是安装程序并更改服务和显示名称

I am trying to install a windows service written in studio 2010 vb

I have looked up atleast 10 tutorials and followed each one.

1) I create a service
2) I add an Installer to the Project
3) I Drag and Drop the serviceinstaller and process installer on to the installer
4) I make sure the parent of each is the installer and change the service and display names
5) I change the run method to Automatic (I have tried manual as well)
6) Build comes out fine

As far as the service code, I had a small task for it to do but just to get a working service, I now have nothing. although just to try it, in 1 attempt I made it write a text file so I could see if it was working



Now I try to install it unsing InstallUtil
This is 3 days of working on just getting the basic service installed. Please help if you have had a problem like this

Are you a normal User or using an Admin level account?

You cant install a service as a normal User.
