For a .net application trying to learn how CSS formatting works.

Should CSS formatting be placed in the SITE.CSS file or should we create a file myspec.css and include that in the application? Is there a best practice?

There is no best practice that I am aware of. A css file works the same in ASP.Net as it does anywhere else. You can create Themes in .Net but I'm not sure many people actually do that.

Just create a css file and then include it in the header of your pages that you want to.
