This looks like an issue with the cosmos DB while running your script. I have found one similar issue that is currently open with the product group. I will go ahead and move this issue to Azure Cosmos DB forum as that might help us narrow down the issue.

Also, It would be great if you can provide the link of the lab or steps that you are using before running into this error.
