解决方案

租户的全局管理员必须使用。


When I try to set up my MFA I get "Maximum number of devices registered".  I am the admin here and all my users work fine. Since I was testing the MFA, it registered to many time. Please advise on repairing this issue.  Thank you



解决方案

The Global Admin of the tenant has to go the MFA Portal for disabling the registered/remembered devices for the user.

Go to the Azure Portal -> Select the Active Directory on the left side and select User. On the Users blade, you will find the link for Multi-Factor Authentication.

Once on the MFA Portal, select the user in question and on the Right Side you will get the option Manage User Settings.

Then Enable the Restore multi-factor authentication on all remembered devices. This would remove the device registrations for that user. And the next time they logon, they would be asked to go through the device registration again.
