Hello. I downloaded the installer for Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9.0 Service Pack 2. and when I tried to install it I got the following error:
The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Verify on your computer that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch.

Hi mihustefan,

服务包不是VFP的完整版本。要安装Service Pack，您需要在PC上安装完整的VFP 9。 SP2仅更新了VFP安装的单个部分。

the Service Pack isn't a full version of VFP. For installing a Service Pack you need a full installed VFP 9 on your pc. The SP2 only updated single parts of the VFP installation.

That's also the reason why you can download the Service Packs for free. They don't work without the licenced product ;)

For a full version of VFP 9 get yourself a MSDN subscription. VFP is still  part of that package.
