I've downloaded the files for Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 with SP1, but when the program proceeds to install the files, none of the components install, and when I try to complete the installation by double-clicking the desktop icon, I still get the same result, with no details given as to why the installation failed. I have exactly the same problem, but of course it's worth to mention that I use Win7 RC 7100. Is there any possibility to use the express editions on win7??
