Hi Gayam,

Make sure your account is Local Admin on the SharePoint server.

Besides, try to run the PowerShell command below in SharePoint 2013 Management Shell:

Get-SPManagedAccount

Check if there is any accounts that had been deleted in AD but not cleaned up from the farm. If so, remove them and check again.

If the issue exists, you can check the ULS log to get more error message about your issue. ULS log is at:
