We’re doing an assessment of moving our SaaS application from another hosting company to Azure.

One of the things I’m assessing is Azure backup. I’ve run into an issue where I can’t determine if AzureBackup supports the use-case below or not.

I see in Azure Backup how I can restore the VM to the backup at 6:30 AM EST.

The issue I can’t determine is how, through Azure Backup, I can restore the transactional backups of the databases that were taken after 6:30 AM EST.

Can you help with this use-case? Is there a better alternative than Azure Backup then, if this isn’t supported? Maybe there are other ways to do the SQL backups, so in that case, please let me know alternatives.
