Is the data created and stored within a Log Analytics OMS workspace encrypted?

I have seen it referred to as the Log Analytics repository and the OMS Repository. I am not sure if they are one and the same.

Data communicated between your connected sources and Log Analytics is encrypted via the TLS (HTTP) Protocol. As far as data stored, it is not yet encrypted at rest and there are plans to have stored data encryption mid-2018.
