We created a new wordpress<> azure app and added to our current paid App service plan.  For some reason it is showing as being in a free plan on the overview page (incorrect) but when we go to our app paid service plan the site is listed as being included in the paid plan (correct).  Since an app cannot be in two service plans at the same time, there seems to be something wrong with your software.  We added a custom domain mapping (it allowed us to as the app is in a paid plan) but it would never map to the site.  We just got a 404 error.  Traceroute confirmed that the DNS was properly configured but it stopped internally at the Azure site.  We are thinking the issue has something to do with the fact the site is listed in the overview as being in a free app service <>plan, when it actually is a paid plan.  Super confusing and clearly there is something wrong.

Apologies for any frustration with this issue! I see that your app is running on a Standard App service plan, if you haven’t tried these already so, the following steps may worth a try:
