In the short term we wish to create a brand new installation of MS Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition which will manage our AD (and DC) and support out firms main accountancy software IRIS which requires a MS SQL DB. This all needs to be configured in a way to enable an integration with MS Azure Site Recovery to allow us to spin up VM's in the Azure cloud in case of a disaster. I believe this means configuring the OS as a Hyper-V VM instance.
