问题描述

我们有一个商业服务器2007网站，我们有几个目录。其中一个目录非常大（大约4Gb的xml数据）。在此目录（备件目录）中，我们有不同的"部分"。这些部分就像是自己的小目录。
部分对应于CS中的类别。每个部分/类别都有很多子类别/产品。当我们更新目录时，我们总是删除整个部分/类别及其子类别和产品。这就是我们所做的：

Hi,

We have a commerce server 2007 site where we have several catalogs. One of the catalogs is very big (about 4Gb of xml data). In this catalog (spare parts catalog) we have different "sections". The sections are like small catalogs in its own. The sections corresponds to categories in CS. Each section/category has a lot of child categories/products. When we update the catalog we always remove a whole section/category and its child categories and products. This is what we do:

1. Export the category with the id of the section to update. Include child categories and products.
2. Append action="delete" on each category and product.
3. Import the modified xml to remove all categories/products
4. Import new xml with new frech data.

The problem we have is that when we import the catalog (both the one with delete and the one with fresh data) the web site times out. No one can use the web site during the imports. What can be the problem?
