The TFS 2015 environment consists of:

1. TFS server: tfs.contoso.com (regular TFS server used by company developers)
2. Created a clone on a Win 7 Pro machine: workstation1.contoso.com (restored TFS only on client machine in order to run template upgrade testing and regular testing).
3. There are also client/developer machines: client1.contoso.com, client2.contoso.com . these will connect to regular TFS (tfs.contoso.com) for code access, etc and to the clone (workstation1.contoso.com) for testing purposes 

As part of the cloning I run ClientService.asmx with StampWorkitemCache on clone Win 7 machine at the end of the cloning ( step https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/docs/setup-admin/tfs/admin/move-clone-hardware#refresh-the-data-cache-on-client-computers in the cloning documentation) . My question is related to this step "Refresh the data cache on client computers" and https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/docs/setup-admin/tfs/admin/backup/refresh-data-caches  since both me(admin) and developers will be connecting on and off to regular TFS and then to cloned TFS (created with backups from 1 month ago) and then back to regular TFS , etc. Please let me know if I have to run:
a. ClientService Web service (StampWorkitemCache method) each time we switch from one environment to the other, and also if I have to run it both on the server AND on the Win 7 clone
b. do we have to "Refresh the Version Control Cache" on each of our workstations both developers and me (from https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/docs/setup-admin/tfs/admin/backup/refresh-data-caches) like

You environment is like you have two TFS servers, you don't need to clean cache every time when you switch from one server to another.
